to DanceCompany-X, formerly known as Delaware Dance Alliance!

The dance company was founded the summer of 2010 with the idea of combining the dance community with actors and martial artists throughout the state of Delaware. The director, Michele Xiques Arnold, did so by joining two incredible forces to its idea: Michelle Parisi, former professional ballerina, company and studio owner, and her husband, Mark Parisi, 6th degree black belt, fight trainer and choreographer, by creating and producing the first ever full length, Twilight Ballet inspired by Stephanie Meyer's novels: Twilight and New Moon.  This project brought huge awareness to the performing arts by bringing in fans of Twilight to see their first ever ballet in an almost sold out crowd, ending the evening with a standing ovation at the Schwartz Center, Dover. This company has successfully created and performed original works of CinemaBallet: Twilight Ballet, Pirates of the Caribbean Ballet, Pippi Longstocking Ballet,  Hansel & Gretel Ballet, Annie, the Ballet and the Nutcracker Express!
